I agree Rebecca, I know for many it seems more difficult to post on a forum than on Facebook but I've always enjoyed the forum more, it's so much more personal. x

Wow, that's a real big list of new members!  Hope they all have stories to tell us about their ragdolls.  When I was at the eye doctor this week, the woman in the area where they sell frames, etc., said she had a chocolate ragdoll.  Whatever it was, it was mismarked.  She said she'd read all about ragdolls and was surprised that this cat was not affectionate and did not like to be held.  that certainly all depends on the cat.  Jamie became extremely affectionate when he became an only boy.  The others would be affectionate when it suited them.  I have to take some pictures next week when I pick up my new glasses so we can "swap" baby pictures.  Golly, I sure do miss the other three.

Shame Sue, I can imagine you must be missing your other three babies, they really do become so much part of our lives.

Not sure if the lady has a chocolate Raggie, but if the parents carry the chocolate gene then yes, you can have chocolates and lilacs. Cody was the only lilac in his litter. He had three chololate brothers and one blue. His Dad was a Seal Mitted carrying chocolate (tested) and his mother was a lilac mitted. The chocolates are more "chocolate" coloured than the seals, the seal is more black/brown the chocolate is what I'd describe nut brown. :)

I was going to post just a photo of a chocolate but then I click on this link and it shows all the standards of colour.
